The Wagner 2K Smart is an incredibly accurate mixing solution for all 2 and 3-component coatings. Depending on the materials, the 2k Smart employs stroke sensors, gears, or Coriolis flow measurements as necessary to ensure a high-quality finish. This system is flexible and can be configured for many applications with simple, intuitive operation via integrated touch display or even using an external PC.
Mixing ratios range from 0.1:1- 50:1 with an accuracy of +/- 2% with pressure ranges from 15 to 3600psi, this system is ideal for water-borne, solvent-borne, abrasive, shear sensitive, or coatings sensitive to moisture (such as isocyanates). In addition to being used as a 2K mixing system, the 2K Smart can also be configured as a 3K mixing system. The third component is also dosed or diluted automatically.
An AIS (Adaptive Injection System) regulates the maximum flow rate of the metering valve completely automatically. With the Wagner AIS, the B component is injected in smooth cycles almost without interruptions resulting in a homogeneous addition of the B component even prior to mixing. When changing the amount of paint flowing through, the dosing system automatically ensures an optimal mixing ratio and a reliable, constant coating quality.
